Stage designer & stage engineer
Dsgnr Martin Hruska

Renowned stage designer Martin Hruška and his exceptional handwriting and imagination have accompanied a number of concerts, concert tours, major TV shows and events for almost 35 years.
The elaborate design of the scenes is designed with the functionality of the project in mind. His talent is appreciated both in his native Czech Republic and abroad. Since 2006, he has been exclusively represented by Stage and Light Design.LLC, based in New York.

Dsgnr Martin Hruška proposes a comprehensive design, from the basic idea to the technical solution. His proposals are always supported in the first phase by a technical solution that is feasible and processed into basic technical plans, including plans defining the necessary custom production. A list of the necessary equipment required for implementation is always included. Thanks to this, the client receives all the documents for pricing the implementation.
As part of the scene design, the necessary images will be created in which several examples show how to work with the scene within the video content and lights during the show.
In the case of a tour, it goes without saying that different setup stages are designed for different sizes of halls and are designed including the necessary transport carts and technical solutions for speeding up the construction during the tour, and the storage of equipment in trucks is defined.
In the case of using automation and moving elements, in addition to the design images and technical plans, a video was created in which it is demonstrated what the moving parts in the scene will enable. This video can subsequently also be used for a PR project.

 LMIII

A sample of Martin Hruška's Stage design for the Leoš Mareš LMIII concert, the design was presented in the form of a video due to the many moving parts and automation.

A demonstration of the same concert by Leoš Mareš LMIII in the largest hall in the Czech Republic, O2 arena Prague, with a capacity of 20,000 people. Three concerts were sold out. A concert with a lot of pyrotechnics and automation. At the beginning of the concert I designed a 6 m long flying drone in UFO style

Queen Relived

The Queen Relived project I designed with lots of automation. The project used both vertical movements of technology, as well as linear movement, when a two-ton object with the artist flew across the entire stadium and back. the project was created for a tour, so it was necessary to manufacture technologies to order to allow for quick construction

Interview

Documentary about Martin Hruškova in which people from show business talk about him. Engineers, producers, promoters and different artists and stars from different countries.

Martin Hruška designs both large and complex projects, as well as medium and small stages, for example festival sets, or just individual accessories in the form of props for various smaller artists. You don't have to worry that your project is not big enough.
As an example, below are examples of projects of various sizes and their processing

No project is too small for me!!!

The amount of my fee depends on the amount of my time devoted to the given project. The smaller the project, the less money. I adjust the fee even within the framework of differences between countries, depending on the usual amount of the fee in a specific country.

"It's not just work, it's still fun"

The process works as follows: in the first stage, the amount of the fee is agreed upon, a contract is concluded and an advance payment is made for the fee. Subsequently, I will propose a stage design with basic plans and create a presentation that I will present to you. Subsequently, an additional fee is paid
